Although most of present-day Bedford came from land formerly belonging to Cambridge, a large section was taken from Concord when the town was created in 1729.
I would add that Brighton (fomerly Little Cambridge or the Third Parish) to the list of places once included in Cambridge territory, as well as most of present-day Belmont, some of which territory near Fresh Pond was annexed by Cambridge.
